a vacuum for picking up animal hair?

I need to find a handheld vacuum that will get the dog hair off the couches and beds for my mom for Christmas. Does anyone have a suggestion for one? I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Dyson line, and I need to know I’m getting a good product before I blow a bunch of money on it.

Look up TriStar. My mom has had the same one for 30 years. They come with a 25 year warantee/ guarantee. It’s the best vacuum EVER! lol My sister just bought one secondhand because we have a cat that sheds a lot.

You can find them on ebay and Kijiji.

Be prepared to spend 200-800$ used. They’re not cheap but worth it because they will last, do the juob, and not break down.
