Do you think this is a good amp?
Before, I was considering buying a Peavey ValveKing 112 tube amp, but now I’m leaning more towards the Peavey Bandit 112 because it is 30w more powerful, over $100 cheaper, and has very good reviews. And I won’t have to worry about the tubes and it says it sounds just as good as a tube amp. I like a very warm, clean tone and I like to be able to switch to heavy distortion using a distortion pedal. Do you think this is a good amp for me?

The bandit is a good amp and has been around for many years. I think the valve king has a little better distortion sound but if you plan on using a pedal than it is no big deal. You really should listen to an amp before you buy it. Check with your local peavey dealer and give them both a listen and then try a bunch of other amps too. You may find that you don’t like either amp and find one that suits you much better.
Good luck!
