Anyone heard of the product called BeamBoy? A media device that streams computer content to your TV via USB?

More info can be found at their website http://www.beamboy.tv I did a test rent subscription and you would think for a legit company from Germany they would offer a secure credit card transaction using SSL, but their ecommerce is lacking so that made me suspicious. Plus I can’t find anything about it on Google or Yahoo. They claim it is a PC Editors Choice product and I can’t find any info on PC Mag’s website. They also make claims on a few other legit mags, but again no information. Looks to be a cool product if it is true and legit. I still wouldn’t buy from them until I could find a legit review of the product from a few respectable magazines in the U.S.A. If this is scam, then please help me to let everyone know it is. But if they are legit I would like to know as I would put this product on my top of the list to watch.

I have been looking for a product similar to the advertised BeamBoy, however like you I am suspicious of the site. 2 days ago a search for PC to TV conversions turned up the normal x10 type of products. However this morning up pops BeamBoy, I did a search on “Smart Revolutions GmbH” who claims ownership and nothing shows up at all. I recommend waiting this one out, better safe than ripped off.
