How do I know if our baby bath is safe?
We just bought a baby bath – this one:

from David Jones. I was silly enough not to research beforehand but thought that DJ’s wouldn’t sell anything dangerous (a bit too trusting, eh?).
Anyway, how do I know it’s safe? Is there a test we can perform or a site we can see reviews on? I looked at choice.com.au but can’t seem to find anything..

It’s not the baby that’s safe, it’s the parent…Never ever leave your baby unattended even for a moment. Get all your supplies and have them in arms reach. Test the baby bath water with your elbow or wrist to test the temperature.
Once you set up the stand, put alot of pressure on it and check it out, or return it if you’re unsure. I just bathed my baby with the tub on the table – it was about a $5 tub from walmart.
You can also buy this little wire thing covered in cloth (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5983016 see the picture in here) where you lay your baby on it in the tub – it makes it super easy to lay your baby in the water, not roll over, and keep their head elevated & your hands free.
