What lap top should I buy? Where can I find the best info? Which brand is the best?

I am looking to buy a new laptop, and I want to get the best product for the best value. Unfortunately I am not the best educated person on these matters. Anybody know what the best computer out there is? And is there a good website that has all the info and reviews? It’s gotta be super fast, and I will probably use it for a little graphic design. Definitely can ‘t be too big and bulky. Should be slim and light. oh yeah, it’s gotta be FAST!! Did I already say that?

My personal opinion, I prefer either Toshiba or IBM.

Toshiba pros due to its lightweight, the battery capacity, cons, you cannot jjust buy any accessories, like external DVD, it have to be Toshiba.

IBM pros, it can take beating, I had drop mine couple of times. Cons, its bulky and heavier than Toshiba,
