Consumer Product Reviews Refrigerators

Is this a legal practice?
I purchased a GE refrigerator through Home Depot, which we have had numerous problems with (see my other questions). The Home Depot has a feature that says review a product if you own it. I have attempted several times to post a review on this refrigerator model (a negative review to be sure but not vulgar in anyway!!) to warn fellow consumers. But no matter how many times I try to submit my review (over several weeks) the Home Depot’s website still says – “No reviews, be the first to review this product.” This is certainly dishonest , but is it actually false advertising – in that they HAVE recieved reviews?
It could simply be a problem with their website. I have run in to this on other sites even when I was doing a good review. Have you checked with the customer service of the site to see if others have had this problem? I have also had it happen where the problem wasn’t the website at all it was my computer settings.
