Do you remember a tile type thing that you put frozen items on and it defrosts them?

I saw this on tv once. It was a metallic (?) tray that sits on the counter. You put your food on it, and it thaws it in a matter of minutes. It wasn’t a machine, no batteries or plugging. Required no heat, but gathered heat from the surrounding air to thaw the food. The idea was that you could make a last minute dinner choice, and also prevent illness with meat laying around to thaw…without that partial cooking around the edges as from a microwave.
