Dell XPS m1730 ??
Yesterday, while surfing, I came into a debate over the alienware vs dell xps laptops. So, I went to both alienware and dell home pages and do some customize things to make a personal laptop. Finally, if I have enough money (obviously not) to buy one of those, the alienware will cost me like 8 grands, and the dell xps costs about 5 grands. So, which one should I choose ? Are there any advantages and downsides of each one ??
Personally, I falls in love with the case and the look of alienware laptop, but it costs more than 3 grands than the dell one, so it isn’t easy to make a decision. So, if anyone have any personal review over those products, please answer my question.
By the way, does the dell xps m1730 has the light plugin as the xps m1730. I heard the light is really cool, and most of people buy dell xps because of it.

Dell owns Alienware.
$5000 for a laptop is ridiculous. With that much high performance equipment in a laptop they generate a lot of heat and battery life will be a joke. Be sure to get an extended warranty.
