ClearQAM compatibility issue?
I’m interested in this projector.

however; under the video compatibility section on the spec sheet it only lists NTSC, PAL, and SECAM.
At my university they offer HD programming to people with ClearQAM tuners. My original plan was to buy and external QAM tuner and hook this up to the projector via HDMI but I am not sure if the projector will accept this format or not. It seems that it should be able to play any HDMI signal that comes in but as I said before, after reviewing the spec sheet of the projector I am not sure.
Can I do this?
That, like most projectors, has no tuner at all.
You will need an outboard QAM tuner. It will work with HDMI on the projector, if you get one with HDMI. Otherwise, you could use it with composite or S-video, and its audio or an outboard audio system,
