Can I use two identical digital cordless phones at the same time?

I was wondering if I can put two in my house and use them simultaneously? I’m pretty sure this isn’t possible for analog, but shouldn’t it work because it’s digital?
you could have done it with analog and you can do it with digital… each handset is registered to its own base…
the only question is why would you want to buy a vtech phone??
