I’m looking for kayak suggestions from experienced users.?

I am looking to buy a kayak this spring. I am 5’3″ tall, 145 lbs. I want a good general purpose kayak that I can use in the bay areas of Massachusetts as well as some small class 2 Rivers in the area. I don’t want to spend 0ver 500 dollars. I have seen a couple on cCraig’s list that fit that range, Has anybody had a good experience with their kayak that that can tell me about? I have been searching product reviews as well.

Shelly try paddling.net, it is a good resource for kayak’s and canoes. They have a classified listing for all areas and makes. Plus they give away lots of stuff if you join, it’s free and has great weekly articles. try them out!!! Check out E bay also, they list lots of kayaking things, paddles, vest, sails, dolly’s, compass’s, canoes and kayaks
