Should I use Nioxin??

I am a 20 year old female who has considered using this product. I had a very neagtive experience with hair extensions a little less than a year ago and my hair is slowly recovering. I have been taking futurbiotics hair, skin and nail supplements as well as Hairtopia vitamins. My hair is noticably thicker than after the extensions were removed. During the summer, I saw a dermatologist who specialized in hair loss. He told me that I did not have any bald spots and that all of my hair would grow back. He said I am young and healthy and do not have anything to worry about. I do see progress but I have been reading about Nioxin shampoo. It does seem to get good results but I am also constantly reading reviews where people say that it increased their shedding for a transient time period. I also see that most people who use it use it because their hair is actually thinning. Fortunately, I do not have that problem.Is it worth it to try this or should I stick to other thickening products?
