Neutrogena advance solutions complete acne therapy system 10 POINTS (as always)?

So I just bought this cute little ‘system’ and obviously decided to give it a try. Now I have Dry and sensitive skin with a LOT of acne Just curious on your thoughts of this product, reviews, personal routine adjustment due to dry skin or other reasons and even recommendations for me on different skin care products (and as always jokes are welcomed )))

I actually tried it, and it DIDN’T work for me. But don’t let that discourage you, drugstore products do work for some people. I recommend using it consistently (day and night, every day, while keeping your hands off your face, your cell phone clean, and drinking plenty of water) and see if there is a change.

Also, if you wear makeup, you should use a makeup removing balm or oil BEFORE you wash your face with a cleanser. This step helped me clear my skin, because it makes the cleanser get EVERYTHING out and it works better.

My skin used to be pretty bad. Combination skin (oily on the forehead and nose, very dry and sensitive on the cheeks) with acne in the same places. I tried EVERYTHING in the drugstore. Finally, I went to Sephora and bought Clinique Acne Solutions (foaming face wash, toner, and acne medication…I used my own moisturizer) and it completely cleared my skin. For the whole full sized set, it’s about $50 all together, but it lasts for about 3 months and is a miracle worker. I also was able to switch the acne medication for a $4 at the drugstore once my skin cleared.

Also, the Murad system (also sold at Sephora) works very well. I used this when my Clinique cleanser was sold out. The clarifying cleanser ($23) cleared a breakout in one day. And I haven’t had one since.

I know those are expensive, but they are my suggestions just in case this system doesn’t work (I hope it does!) and in case you don’t want to spend a lot at a dermatologist. Just remember to be patient and follow a routine!
